METRON aims for continuous improvement in environmental protection, as well as maintenance and development of the integrated Management System in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 by adhering to the relevant legislative and regulatory requirements. This policy is aimed at the development of all activities and processes in an environmentally acceptable manner, in compliance with the following guiding principles:

• Achieve compliance with the legal requirements and the voluntarily adopted ones concerning environmental protection, related to the activities, processes, products and services of the organization.
•   Economical use of natural and energy resources and application of the best available technologies and methods;
• Minimize and possibly prevent environmental pollution by adopting long-term and short-term programs;
• Strive to reuse and recycle waste generated, and use or dispose of it accordingly;
• Provide necessary training and strengthen the sense of personal responsibility to protect the environment;
• Active cooperation with authorized organizations for environmental control.

The Management of METRON calls upon its staff to adhere to the principles and requirements arising from this environmental policy in fulfilling their duties. Personal responsibility of everyone to protect the environment and compliance with the requirements of the Management System are the responsibility of every employee of the Organization.
